About Pointy
Pointy is a young girl who happens to be a bat. She lives with her human Father and Mother in the town of Bolton.
We first meet Pointy on a stroll downtown with her parents when she discovers ice cream for the first time. The adventures to follow teach Pointy a lesson about doing the right thing and showing kindness to others. No matter how big or how small, we can all make an impact to make the world a better place.
About the Author
Zaylon Hoffman loves using his big imagination to tell fun stories—just like Pointy Wants Ice Cream! Pointy actually started as a silly inside joke between Zaylon and his wife, Mary, when they created a character based on their stuffed bat. That funny little idea soon grew into the story you’re holding now! When he’s not writing, you might find him golfing, bowling, playing video games, studying the Bible, or spending time with Mary. (And if Mother and Father in the story look a little familiar… well, you probably see why!)
